Fredericks of Hollywood Lingerie Museum has become a tourist attraction over a period of time. This world famous lingerie museum is situated in the Art Deco building in Hollywood and salutes all the famous women who wore its range of lingerie. It starts from 1946 when Fredericks of Hollywood was born and shows the journey from then till now. Fredericks of Hollywood Lingerie Museum makes an effort to trace the history of lingerie and bra and how it has changed over a period of several years.
It showcases lingerie worn by famous celebrities such as Zsa Zsa Gabor, Cher, Milton Berle and Madonna. The lingerie museum features hall of fame items worn by super celebrities such as Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe and Phyllis Diller.
The collection comprises of some of the popular lingerie pieces which includes the pointed black-and-gold bustier worn by Madonna, boxer shorts worn by Tom Hanks in Forresr Gumps, Training Bra of Phyllis Diller with This Side Up written on it., Cher’s 32B underwire bra with her autograph, Milton Berle bra worn during her 1950s TV shows hosted by her and Tony Curtis bra worn during Some Like It Hot.
